Maintenance Planning & Control Lead (m/w/d)
Your responsibilities:
Professional and disciplinary leadership, as well as motivation and development of the “Maintenance Planning & Control” team.
Overall responsibility for dispatching and resource planning of all operational maintenance capacities.
Planning, control and monitoring of capacities in the short, medium and long term: orders, personnel and track allocation, as well as ensuring smooth daily operations for the team.
Development and continuous improvement of reporting systems: documentation of planning statuses, deviations and actions; KPIs and key topics.
Further development of plant control: you actively develop structures, processes and methods. You are a driver of continuous improvement.
Knowledge building and research to solve operational challenges.
Close coordination with workshop, engineering and commercial departments.
Consolidation of communication channels and information flows within dispatching.
Stakeholder management, interface management, client relationship management, and service delivery management
What you bring:
Solid experience as a team leader and several years of professional experience in a comparable position.
Affinity for a cooperative leadership style: you take the lead in challenging situations while giving your team space. You create a positive working atmosphere.
Several years of experience in dispatching, detailed planning or operational control, ideally in rolling stock maintenance or a comparable industry.
Strong stakeholder and service orientation.
Completed technical vocational training or equivalent qualification. A degree in engineering is an advantage.
Very good German language skills, both written and spoken; good English skills; Spanish is a plus.
Confident use of Excel for planning, analysis and reporting, as well as knowledge of continuous improvement processes. Experience with SAP ISI (IBM Maximo is a plus).
Experience with structured planning methods, process design and continuous improvement processes.
Strong negotiation and communication skills, solution-oriented mindset, organizational talent, and the ability to reduce complexity and set priorities. Empathetic in interpersonal interactions, consistent in decision-making.
